Why we used an eSIM (and why it’s now my default recommendation)
On international trips, the first hour after landing is when you most need connectivity: navigation, messaging your driver/hotel, translating, pulling reservations, and confirming meeting points. The old approach (airport Wi-Fi + finding a SIM shop + swapping cards) works… but it’s friction-heavy.
